Come and join Scottish Region at Lanark Racecourse THS no need to book just turn up.
Please note entrance for site is now the lane nearer to the Hynford Bridge, this enters into the field below one we used last year, and is an easier access to site, watch for signs.
Plenty to do nearby for all the family, including a large boating lake – Lanark Loch, which adjoins Lanark Golf Club which has a lovely and historic 18 hole course for more experienced golf players and a 9 hole course for those who want to play a quick round of golf, pony-trekking, swimming pool, or visit the nearby World Heritage Site of New Lanark. Where you can discover the fascinating history of the impressive cotton mill village of New Lanark and the life and times of mill manager and social pioneer Robert Owen. As you explore the village it is easy to imagine how people lived and worked in Owen’s time. Also, visit the Falls of Clyde Nature Reserve for beautiful riverside walks with spectacular views of waterfalls and a chance to spot peregrine falcons.
